So I've been on the hubbs lately about fixing the flat tire on my stroller. Especially since we had a road trip planned for last weekend. Well Friday I picked Munchkin up from "school" and put him down for his nap while I finished the laundry and packed. Hubbs came home with Fix-a-Flat for the stroller tire, I was so excited that we'd actually be able to use the stroller for the first time in about 6 months. Ha ha.
Laundry folded and put away.
Bag packed and loaded in the car.
Munchkin up and heading to Kansas City.
A little before Ottawa there was a VERY loud pop that came from the back and an awful smell... Apparently the tire that was just filled with Fix-a-Flat exploded in the back of my new car. The smell was so bad that I was getting light headed and nauseous from just a couple minutes. It went all over Munchkin's personalized suitcase, and soaked through and got to all his diapers, clothes, blankets, and shoes! Needless to say, we had to stop in Ottawa while Munchkin and I hopped out and took our time eating dinner while the Hubbs took the car to Walmart and got cleaning supplies. It was FREEZING that evening and bless his heart, he stood out in the freezing cold and cleaned the back end of my car.
Today; 4 days after, 2 details, 3 cleanings a day, and 10 dryer sheets later, it is starting to smell better.
Now we have to order a new suitcase and an entirely new tire for the stroller... At least the tire will finally get fixed. Ha ha. (Don't tell the Hubbs I said that...)

Sunday Funday
My adorable little Munchkin at the park (yes that's a park) watching Uncle "Nene" race his gas powered remote control truck around.
After play time at the park, Munchkin man went to my in-law's house for a slumber party and he had a ball helping Nene and Papa work on the remote control truck.
Snuggle time in Mommy and Daddy's bed after an eventful morning... After picking him up from the in-law's late morning we came home and he wanted to go for a golf cart ride on the golf course. So we got all bundled up and headed to the course - little background, we live in the most Northwest corner of the square mile that the golf course is. - Anyways, we got on the very East side of the course and what do ya know, the golf cart ran out of juice. So the hubbs pushed the cart to a near by cul de sac where luckily there was a nice gentleman outside working in the yard and he came over and asked if we needed help. I called my (sick) bestie that was close and she came and picked me up to take me home to get the charger, and the gentleman let us plug the cart in. After about an hour we finally all made it home for lunch.
Lesson of the day: Charge golf cart after every use!
Loves to take pictures now :-)
We remodeled our hall bath, and Munchkin loves his "new" bathroom. Can't see the floor, but we also tiled that, it was carpet before... Gross.
Have I mentioned my bestie from California is in town?!?! Well we got a few friends together and went to Sumo for dinner last week. This is my Munchkin's "mean mug", no he isn't possessed. Ha ha.
Too bad my bestie is sick on her vacation home! Guess that means we'll have to be planning a trip to San Diego pretty soon, darn!

Being Productive
I feel like I could take on anything today.
Let me start off with this, I am always making lists. For everything. Ask my husband, there are lists all over the house. Usually I make a "Weekly To Do List" for myself at the beginning of the week and try to knock it all out by the end of Tuesday (that's when my Munchkin is at Nana's).
Well, this morning I only had ONE thing on my daunting "To Do List" and it was a meeting at 9am to confirm our countertop for our master bathroom.
Here is how my day has gone so far...
1. Wake up at 6:30am with little man and play,
2. Make breakfast,
3. Meeting at 9am,
4. Clean out car,
5. Take down Christmas lights on tree out front, along with miniature Christmas trees with lights in pots on the porch,
6. Pick up and clean basement,
7. Laundry,
8. Change sheets on beds,
9. Unload and reload dishwasher,
10. Make lunch AND dinner
All before Munchkin went down for a nap.
Now don't go thinking I neglected my little man. Because he loves to "help" me with chores around the house, and I always stop and play with him if he doesn't feel like helping.
Next on my list, relax for the rest of the weekend.
Oh, and the WINGS GAME tonight :-)
